A nationwide drug prevention campaign in Italy has gone beyond one million educational anti-drug booklets distributed in recent weeks. The initiative forms part of the drug awareness programme known as “The Truth About Drugs”, which aims to provide accessible knowledge about commonly abused substances and their risks to young people and communities.
Approximately five hundred volunteers are eu news today participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in cities, neighbourhoods and local businesses. The campaign focuses on prevention through education, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a simple way.
The initiative forms part of Scientology-supported social betterment activities, inspired by the work of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
